Susie - Makin Waves since April 1997
Entreprenuer, community organizer, friend, dancer, mother and animal lover, Susie is all of these and more. Susie was born into a family of artists in New York and moved to California at age 3 and made Huntington Beach home in her twenties. She started out doing nails in 1988 but it wasn't long before she fell in love with hair extensions. She has baby fine hair herself and starting wearing hair extensions before she ventured out into making it her primary business in 1997. She is certified in 11 different methods of extensions, assuring each client the method that works the best for their hair type. Susie has worked on numerous celebrities, rock stars, actresses and models and is equally at home in her salons or in an unpredictable place such as backstage at concert venues, on tour buses. JC - Makin Waves since 1997
When JC was 16 he decided he would join the family business since he knew he would meet alot of girls. After enrolling in Cosmetology school he found he really loves to do hair, graduating at age 17 and obtaining his license at 18 years of age. Even though the craft was natural for him, the road was paved but not easy. After obtaining his Cosmetology license he entered the assisting program at Salon Crew and his main trainer was a Toni & Guy educator. He attended endless cutting and color classes during this program before finally working his way into the family salon. Now his clientele includes CEO's of major corporations, athletes, and many local residents. Precision cutting, Brazilian straighteners and hair color clients are assured a detailed consult and satisfaction. JC plays hockey and golf and has a huge automotive obsession and tapes all of the Formula 1 races. |

Colleen - Makin Waves since August 2008
When Colleen was wandering through a Massachusetts mall one day she decided to stop in a Hair Academy and enrolled on the spot. She went on to own her own salon in Massachusetts. She became the stylist for the East Coast publicist of the Young & Restless and Bold & Beautiful soap operas. Eventually Colleen sold everything and moved to sunny California to do hair full time for the soap operas. She then became Tina Yother's (Family Ties) personal stylist. She eventually landed in Huntington Beach and her long time clents keep her here as well as the great beach community to raise her two daughters in. Colleen can do anything hair related from wig styling to hair cutting, however she is a master at color and highlights, and in a timely manner. She has been on both sides of the fashion industry, having modeled herself and of course doing models hair. An artist at heart, she also loves to work on canvas with oil paints and watercolors. |

Tiffani - Makin Waves since 2010
Tiffani decided to do hair in her freshmen year of highschool. That was the first year she started coloring her own hair and quickly realized she was naturally good at it. She attended the Paul Mitchell Academy for Cosmetology. Her goals are to make people feel good about themselves and to always continue her education, you can never stop learning. Currently her specialties are cuts and colors but she is working on expanding that. She loves to cut childrens hair and is involved in a childrens program at her church. She has worked two fundraising cut-a-thons and has also done hair and makeup for a photo shoot with the Paul Mitchell Academy. Before deciding to do hair she considered moving to New York City and being in musicals on Broadway. Tiffany has a background in theatre and loves singing and playing guitar. She is also a bit of a workout junkie, running, going to the gym and most recently doing P90x. |
